My hair was bothering my while I was working on a Smrt Lernins entry, but couldn’t find a hair tie, so I clipped it back with an IKEA bag clip…then forgot about it until several hours later, when Captain Science asked, “Mama, what’s that in your hair.”
Oops. Guess I looked a little like a homeschooler that day!

But it’s nothing compared to what I did once. I raced into the bathroom to take a quick shower. Stripped off. Decided I didn’t want to wet my hair. Couldn’t find a hair elastic so I grabbed the underpants I had just removed and used them to twist the hair up in a messy updo. Now this was fine for the shower, but the problem is, half an hour later I drove off without remembering to fix my hair. Homeschooler look or just plain barmy? You decide…
