We are an anomoly, a family of relatively new homeschoolers (a year and a half) stepping in mid stream beginning with my eldest in 5th grade last year. We are liberal to moderate Christians who believe in secular homeschooling and I can't fathom unschooling. We believe in reasonably rigorous work, although are currently hindered in some ways by language learning with older adoptees...who are working their butts off and it totally shows. We work 7-8 hours a day at something related to school, not 3 hours as some do. Hmmm...may have found my match here! I think I have stumbled upon a blog I will really love!
