So I decided to start from the beginning, because I really liked the couple of posts I've read so far.

You're a writer! That explains why you're so good at writing these!

Third grade is in general a bad year, I think. I spent my third year absolutely BORED most of the time, and not understanding it the rest of the time.

There was one incident I remember, where I didn't finish my work in class, so my teacher let me take it home. It was math. My dad explained the concepts to me perfectly (he wasn't always my best teacher, but by third grade he had a good idea of how to teach me best. It took my own father a couple of years to figure me out! I think you know the point I'm trying to make). I finished my homework without a hitch.

The next day, I sit at my desk, not doing my class work. My teacher comes up to me and asks me why I'm not doing my work. I tell him that I didn't understand his lesson, and I was just going to wait for my dad to explain it to me better. Oh, you can imagine how that went over! He sent me to the principal, for not behaving, or some bs like that. I think he was just offended that I essentially told him he wasn't a good teacher. Ouch.
